Quality Assurance
An overriding concern at Persagen is quality assurance. Data quality issues include:
- source / provenance
- accuracy / precision
- noise / errors
- granularity
Sadly, in an era of “fake news / alternate facts,” for-profit publishing, and resume padding even the biomedical literature is susceptible to “predatory journals” and fake publications.
Our work is governed by the dictum “Garbage in, garbage out.” We apply custom approaches to address these issues.
